Iran director Mehdi Fard-Qaderi judge Italy fest

Iran director Mehdi Fard-Qaderi's name appears among jurors of the Ischia Filmfest in Italy.

Fard-Qaderi, who is selected to jury the event this year, attended the previous edition of the festival with his first feature film 'Immortality'.

The flick won the director the Best Film award.

His recent cinematic project 'Weightlessness' is currently at shooting stage.

Besides making his first feature film, the director has made some successful short films which also brought him several international nominations along with international recognition.

The Ischia Film Festival cooperates together with the main Italian universities, providing research and data related to cinema tourism to be discussed in academic dissertations on territorial marketing, cinema and cinetourism.

The festival, now being held in Italy, has been slated for June 30-July 7, 2018. The winners will be announced on Saturday.
